“Ah, it won’t take that long. I’ll strangle the life out of this meat head in an instant.”

“Next time it won’t be your nails that go flying!”

The General and I stood up.

“Wait, wait… What the hell are you two doing?”

“Isn’t it obvious?”

“It’s very obvious.”

“I’m going to kill him!”

“I’m going to kill her!”

The claws grew and the fangs were bared. In the meantime, I held my club in front of me.

“Do what you will then. I am leaving. But I will return tomorrow and expect to hear a proper answer. Good day!”

Miralda said as she left. She teleported just like when she had come.

“…She’s gone.”

“…It appears so.”

We both sighed at the same time.

Of course, that had all just been an act. We had discussed it in advance.

As they had asked for an audience, it was clear that there would be some kind of demand or request.

And so we wanted them to leave once. We would not decide immediately.

However, this was a messenger from a Demon King. It was possible that they would demand an answer at once. 

That’s why we needed a way to get out of it.

And we had every intention of fighting if she did not stop us.

I was just glad that it didn’t come to that.

Still, I was quite proud of my own acting.

After all, it had helped buy us a whole day.
