Tilura was nervous
“Wuff…”
“Ah, you finished eating. Did you like it?”
“Wou!”
While I was talking with Claire, the others finished eating their sausages.
I petted Leo as she sighed with satisfaction.
I’m sure she wasn’t completely full, but she enjoyed it. Sherry and Volgrau were also wagging their tails happily.
“Do you think I really have the Gift…?”
“I don’t kno. But it would be hard to find other explanations for some of the things that happened to you.”
“Hmm…”
As we made our way to Ms. Isabelle’s store, Tilura started to mutter anxiously to Claire.
Now that we were almost there, she must have become nervous, and had various thoughts in her head.
“I think you do have it. Because it was similar with me…”
“I see… But…what should I do?”
“Tilura, you don’t have to do anything. You will always be my younger sister. This does not change anything.”
“It doesn’t…?”
At first, Tilura had been very happy about the possibility of having the Gift. But now she was unsure.
But Claire was right. Nothing would change.
She just had some convenient abilities. That was all.
It wasn’t as if she had to use them, or accomplish anything.
Of course, there were some people who felt you had to use your power to help others… But I didn’t agree.
I just felt she should live as she pleased.
“While I may not be the best example…I am still someone with experience. And so you can talk to me about it whenever you want. Perhaps I can give you some good advice.”
“…Yes! That’s reassuring!”
“Hah… Tilura. Is Mr. Takumi more reliable than me?”
“Th-that’s not what I meant, sister! It’s because he has the Gift…”
“Hehe. I know that. I’m just joking, Tilura.”
“Hmph!”
“If you really do have it, you should talk to Mr. Takumi about it when we return to the house.”
“Yes!”
“But Tilura, remember this one thing. When it comes to such things, it is how you use it that is the most important. It is your choice whether to use it or not. But if you decide to use it, you must think about it carefully. After all, you are the daughter of a duke.”
“Yes… I understand, sister.”
Tilura nodded seriously. While I very much doubted she would use her powers for evil, it was still Claire’s job to correct her when she felt something was wrong.
I would help as well.
“Claire, those words you said…”
“So you remember. Yes, it’s what I said before you found out about the Gift. Isabelle also said something similar.”
She had said that to me in the carriage on our first trip to Ractos.
In a way, it became the basis for how I thought about using the Gift.
“Indeed… Yes, it was because of your words that I became very careful, so that I didn’t use it in the wrong way. I won’t forget them.”

I was the one who wanted to thank her.
Had it only been Ms. Isabelle who told me, the words would have likely not made as much of an impression. Claire had power and authority due to her position, and so they rang true.
“I won’t forget your advice either, sister!”
“Hehe. Thank you, Tilura. Yes, since I am the one who said it, I will also be careful to follow my own advice.”
Tilura looked a lot more calm now. I hoped that she would stay that way.
“Kyau! Kyau!”
“Wuff-wuff!”
“Haha! You two are rooting for me too? Thank you!”
Sherry and Leo barked as if cheering for her.
And it was in the midst of this happy atmosphere that we went to Ms. Isabelle’s store.
