I decided to make more herbs

“The breakfast looks normal.”
“Indeed. Last night’s dinner really was just because of our sudden return.”

Unlike yesterday’s dinner, there was a lot of food served for breakfast.
And so both Mr. Ekenhart and Leo were satisfied.
Still, it was impressive that both of them could eat so much this early in the morning… Though I wondered that, I also ate quite a lot.
Breakfast is what gives you strength for the day… But the real reason was that Ms. Helena’s food was that delicious.

Once we were about half-way through breakfast, Ms. Anne got up and joined us.
Unlike the others, she seemed to still be tired. And though she had started to curl her hair again, they were not like they were before.
It was like you could tell how much energy she had by their current state.

“It’s because you didn’t eat before going to bed, Anne. Even if you’re tired, you must eat a proper meal.”
“You say that, but…”

Indeed, you needed some nutrition. Sleep alone would not be enough…
There had been times when I was so tired after work, that I would sleep without eating, and still be exhausted the next morning…

“Now, Mr. Takumi. About today… It seems like Ractos is running out of herbs.
“Yes, Ms. Gelda told me about it yesterday. And so I will start with that today.”
“Well, I suppose I will watch Mr. Takumi as he makes the herbs then…”
“No, Your Grace. As I said earlier, you are needed at the main house as soon as possible.”
“That’s right, father. I also have a lot of work to do. You can watch Mr. Takumi some other time.”

After we finished eating and relaxed with some tea, Sebastian asked me about today.
Apparently, Mr. Ekenhart and Ms. Claire wanted to watch me use Weed Cultivation, but both had a lot of work to do.
I was not sure why anyone would want to watch that…

“And I will go and see Rahle!”
“Tilura… Well, yes. Normally I would tell you to study, but I suppose it is fine for today. After all, Rahle is not used to being here yet.”
“Yes!”
“And I shall sleep…
“Anneliese, that will not do at all. You are leaving with me today. So you must prepare!”
“…Oh… Very well.”

Tilura was able to escape her studies by using Rahle as an excuse.
Of course, there were a lot of things to confirm with Rahle, and so it made sense to prioritize that.
As Ms. Anne was not recovered, she wanted to return to her room and rest, but Mr. Ekenhart put an end to that hope.
Well, it was a long journey, so she would need to prepare for it.

Leo and Liza had nothing to do, so they could go out into the garden with me…
But they would likely get bored, so maybe they should play with Rahle and Tilura.
Though, Leo would probably want to continue with Sherry’s training.

“Mr. Takumi. After you are finished with your work, there is something I would like to discuss with you about the herb fields.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes. Since there were not enough herbs, they started picking the ones in the test field. Also, there are other matters that must be decided.”
“Well, I did tell them that they could use those herbs if they ran out. But very well. I will make more for the field as well. And yet, I am sure there is much to decide on…”
“Indeed. Such as the hiring of workers.”
“I understand. Let’s talk after I finish then.”
“Yes, thank you.”

Things like the location of the field and the house had already been decided. But as for the workers to hire, the herbs and how they would be managed… There are a lot of things that are still up in the air.

“Rahle, that’s amazing!”
“Kii!”
“Wou…grau!”
“Ah, mama! Woah, amazing!”
“Haha, I see you’re all having fun.”

I muttered as I went out into the garden to see Rahle playing with Tilura, and Leo and Liza.
Rahle dove down from the sky and then went back up right before hitting the ground. It was what birds often did when catching prey on the ground or in the water.

Upon seeing this, Leo must have felt something….probably due to Tilura praising Rahle… And so while carrying Liza, she jumped high into the air.
Liza cheered. And while it was impressive how careful Leo was so that she didn’t fall off… I didn’t know why an eagle and wolf had to compete in the first place.
They were just so different… But regardless, Tilura and Liza seemed to be having fun. So it was fine, as long as they did nothing dangerous.
