Leo’s magic was incredibly powerful

Alfred told the others to stand back.
“Lady Claire. What is going to happen now is the forced breaking of a contract through the use of magic energy. It might affect you and Sherry as well. Though, I suppose you could always just make a new contract…”
“I see. Very well then. Let’s move away, Tilura.”

The guards, Nicholas, Ms. Hermine then stood in front of them, as if for protection.
We didn’t know if it would be effective, but it was better than nothing.
With such powerful magic, it was possible that it could leak and affect other familiar as well.
As for Leo, I didn’t think we even had a familiar contract. Regardless, as it was Leo’s own magic, it would probably be fine.
Rahle was not here, but there was the matter of the Gift, so we wanted her to be affected by other things as little as possible.

Leo nodded at Alfred and attempted it once again.
