Chapter 106 – And the threat was gone?
While carrying the gold dragon, which had lost its wings, Menew returned quietly to the carriage.

And the gold dragon chanted the blessed verse.
“I hereby pledge to serve Summoner Menew, and respond to his call, journeying to the ends of the earth. In answer to the call of gold, I shall traverse a thousand miles. …Now, decide the name that will bind me.”
“From today forth, you shall be Bergwerk.”
“The contract is made.”
Light poured from the dragon’s body and entered the staff.
She was now his familiar. And she took a great chunk of energy with her, but since he was still able to maintain the Horemakhet and the carriage, he must have plenty of energy left.

Totto and Mr. Wal climbed onto the Horemakhet’s arm, and then Bergwerk flew over to one of the volcanic mountains.
Then she rose up into the air, so that they had a view of the entire island.
“This whole island is my territory. As my body is starting to melt, fix me to this place before I disappear.”
Totto stood on the Horemakhet’s hand, while in the back, Menew and Mr. Wal put their hands down and prepared to send the magic energy.
From Totto, who had set up the alchemy magic circle, a torrent of energy surged out. It seemed that his magic had increased without Menew noticing. And so Menew did not have to use much.
“Unite!”
Totto shouted, and the entire island glowed with a brilliant gold color.
That should be the end of it.
His body swayed, and Menew had to support him. Both were quite tired.
“Totto, that was amazing! You did it with your own power alone!”
Totto laughed weakly. And then after muttering about being happy, he closed his eyes and was unconscious.
“Well, I will now use this body to take care of the things that I have done. I’m sorry for causing so much trouble. You can summon Beru-chan whenever you want.”

There had been something quite girl about her, and it turned out she had even thought of a cute nickname.
After saying farewell to the giant robot, they returned to Ramsteris in the pegasus carriage. As they arrived in the evening, when no one was around, they landed quietly behind the church and then went inside.
