“I think that…if the ears were more like this, it would look cuter!”
“Papa! Isn’t this one good too?”

After seeing the slippers, both Tilura and Liza had suggestions of their own.

Tilura wanted the ears to be longer and wider…which made them almost look like wings. Perhaps she had used Rahle as inspiration.

Liza made the ears smaller and triangular in shape… Similar to Ms. Delia’s ears.

“Yes, they look nice, but… Tilura, don’t you think that’s a little too much?”
“Hmm. What interesting suggestions. Variety is a good thing.”

Claire and Mr. Halton gave their opinions as well.

Some time later, the heated discussion in regards to the slipper designs finally ended.

“…Hmm. I did like the one that I thought of…”

“Tilura, they were too big for something that is to be worn.”

As we left the building, Tilura was still not satisfied about the decision.

However, the ears would have touched the floor and gotten dirty too easily. And so the idea was rejected.

And while Liza’s design would not be the easiest to create, it had been accepted.

On top of that, Claire had asked for a pair in different colors, as the ears were also quite similar to Leo and Sherry’s ears.

Liza would have black and Claire would have white ears. They were not going to use silver cloth for slippers.

Wolf-like designs were quite popular in Ractos recently, and so Mr. Halton said he might work that into the slippers… I looked forward to seeing the finished product.

“Wuff… Wuff?”
“Hmm? What is it, Leo?”

After we left the store, we reunited with Leo and made our way back to Sebastian and the others. That was when Leo turned her head to look at a back alley.

Apparently, there was something that interested her there.

“Wuff. Wuff-wuff.”

“She says there is something there, but she doesn’t know what.”

“Kyau?”
“Sherry says the same.”

“Well, it might be best to go and take a look then. Leo, is there any danger?”

“Wuff!”
“I see. Claire, you should stay…”
“No, Mr. Takumi. While I am a little anxious to go…it is fine. Because I also want to know what good Leo is interested in.”

Leo had quickly assured me that there was no danger.

However, it was a narrow alley, and Claire was wearing a dress.

I thought it might get dirty, but she was adamant that she would go too.

“Please leave Lady Claire to me.”
“Yes, thank you, Hermine.”

Regardless, Ms. Hermine looked confident, and Claire nodded in agreement. So I felt no reason to stop them.
