Tilura felt like she had new brothers and sisters
“You’re like an older brother, Mr. Takumi. We can talk, train together and play… I used to want an older brother instead of an older sister.”
“Haha. Well, it would be fun.”
I felt a little bad for Claire. But I suppose that was a long time ago?
Well, people tended to want what they didn’t have.
I had wanted a younger brother or sister too.
The uncle who raised me had older children. But they were very kind, and were like an older brother and sister to me.
“And then…Liza could be like my younger sister. And I already have an older sister. It’s very fun!”
They were similar in age and god along well. Though, Liza was the closest to Ms. Lyra, and called her sister.
“Now, if only I had a younger brother…”
“That…might be difficult.”
Mr. Ekenhart’s wife was already dead.
Perhaps he could remarry… But it didn’t seem like he wanted to do that.
Regardless, while the subject had changed quite a lot, I was glad that we could end the talk on a happier note.
And so Tilura was back to her usual self as she returned to the house.
“Ah…I forgot to ask her about how she wanted to use the Gift.”
“Wuff…”
“Kii…”
After she left, I was sipping my now cold tea when I remembered something.
Leo and Rahle were exasperated.
However, there had been a need to confirm things about the Gift.
“…Well, I suppose she did say that she wanted to make a lot of friends. So that must be her goal. Yes, that’s fine.”
“Wuff. Wuff…”
“Ki.”
Lady Josephine had used her Gift to become friends with Silver Fenrirs and fenrirs.
And so I had wanted to know what Tilura wanted to do.
“Of-of course. Even if we no longer live together, I would like to know how she is doing.”
“Wuff?”
“It’s true…”
Leo looked at me doubtfully as I drained my cup. And like that, I left Rahle and returned to the house.
—
“Papa.”
“Hmm? What is it?”
After taking a bath, I had returned to my room in order to sleep. Liza looked troubled, and Leo was curled up in the corner as if sulking.
“Uh…uh…”
“What is it?”
Liza leaned against my knee as I sat on the bed. Normally, she would have wagged her tails happily, but they were drooping no.
“Hmm? What is it?”
“I was lonely!”
“I see… Sorry.”
“I’m glad sister Tilura got better… But you and mama were gone all day…”
There had been the matter with Deurgo, and so we had gone to Ractos without Liza.
When we had first returned to the house, she had been playing happily with Ms. Delia and the fenrirs, so I thought she was fine.
But I suppose it didn’t help that I then took Leo to the garden in order to talk to Tilura about Lady Josephine…
They were similar in age and god along well. -> They were similar in age and got along well.
Thanks.
