We continued to run…until we were finally outside! Yes! We escaped the dungeon!
Everyone made it out safely! This is like a dream!

That was what I thought, but then several people moved in between us.
They were guards who were fully covered in platinum armor.
With a tone that was very formal, they asked us to show our guild cards.
Ah, this was the entrance examination that Mr. Bran was talking about.
They went around and inspected everyone’s Adventurers card.
Huh? Even Mr. Bran and Mr. Mavro had cards.
As I looked in surprise, Mr. Bran explained that it was not unusual among merchants who worked alone.

But while I was nodding in satisfaction, someone grabbed my shoulder.
It was the blue-haired magician from earlier.

Once the guards had left, I frantically bowed my head and apologized.

When I bowed, Ms. Noa and the others bowed as well.
And then the magician wanted to know the reason.

After I finished explaining, the magician let out a big sigh.

However, the condition was that we hand over eighty percent of the orcs we defeated inside of the dungeon.
…It could have been a complete disaster inside there…so it was a fair trade.
If anything, we got off lightly.
Thinking this, I agreed to the condition. But after looking surprised, they burst into laughter.

I looked confused, but she then explained to me that I was too naive.
Normally, people would be angry over such a thing.
After they had finished laughing, they introduced themselves.
The magician was Ms. Shu, and she was the leader of the Alancar party.
And what’s your party called? Asked Ms. Shu.
Will you promise not to laugh? I asked hesitantly. And then I told it to her.
After a few seconds’ pause, they all started to laugh loudly.
Nameku Hunter…it really did have quite an impact.
Once they were finished laughing, Ms. Shu said that while the conditions of the encounter were the worst, she would like to be friends with us. And then she offered her hand.

After we shook, Ms. Shu and the others said they were going back into the dungeon, and so they left.
However, they gave us a map before leaving.
If we followed the mark, we would be able to reach Marga Town safely. Ms. Shu!
