But then he got right back to his feet.

Nothing good would come out of backing off now, and so I quickly ran up and met him with a roundhouse kick.
This time, he fell so hard that the ground caved in. Surely he would not get up after that.
It was all he could do to turn on his back. His eyes were spinning.
Had I done the same thing to a normal goblin, they wouldn’t even have a head anymore. That showed how much stronger these Commanders were.
As there were a lot of goblins, maybe they obtained greater power through the orb of control.
“Stand.”
I said. Grobo moved his head a little.
“I can’t move my body.”
“Then the fight hasn’t ended.”
I needed to get this over with, or else he would continue to pester me.
“Wait! I can’t fight anymore.”
“Not my problem.”
I walked towards him and raised one foot into the air.
“I surrender! I am defeated. So, please stop.”
I stopped just before my foot went down.
Huh. He admitted it a lot faster than I was expecting. But I should just make sure.
“Then we should have a rematch. Come on, get up!”
“I can’t. My body is too numb. I can’t move.”
“Well, you can fight on the ground then. Count until your head is crushed.”
“I’m sorry. I surrender. I won’t ever attack you gain. So please forgive me.”
He really was surrendering.
I looked at the spectators who had gathered around us.
Well, they were just members of the war council.
“…”
They all kept silent.
There was no reaction. So this was the end of it.
Good. Now I could leave.
Still, I decided to push my luck.
“…Alright. Who’s next?”
“I am.”
The Gob-gob archer. Iribo stepped forward.
