‘It’s a dead-end!’
‘This side is a dead-end too!’
The slimes had checked every room now, and they had reached a dead-end.
Perhaps we had now seen everything that there was to see.
That being said…we still haven’t found any completely damning information that proved the enemy’s intention.
‘This room seems to be the most likely.’
I said as I gazed at one of the rooms that the slime had entered.
It was filled with numerous barrels.
And all of them were filled with cursed water.
Most of the facility had ended up being a ‘cursed water’ production plant… And this was the room where the finished water was stored.
The problem was, where were they going after this?
There were several hidden doors here that led to underground tunnels. And those led to the forest. But I didn’t know where they went after that.
We would have to follow someone as they moved the barrels.
‘Stay there and wait for someone to come.’
‘Okay!’
I asked the slimes to monitor the room until someone arrived.
…But waiting like this was tiring, so I hoped that someone would come soon.

Thanks for the update!! As the story progresses, Yuji is becoming more of a spy rather than an adventurer.. Still it is nice to see the slimes in action..
Nice spy stuff here. Should try planting some traps here and there, or prepare some major large area purification spells, just to mess with them. The scariest enemy is the unknown one. Those terrorist always sneak around, plotting and stuff, they should get treated with their own medicine too. Also, the slimes will get some fun out of that 😀

Just destroy the whole place and kill them all. So what if they start coming after you? Just keep killing them, they’ll eventually run out.
