My Beloved Dog is the Strongest in Another World – 1303

I had to think about where the fenrirs would sleep

“Though, it will be some distance from the house that you will be living in, Mr. Takumi… What will you do when you need to contact them?”

A way to stay in contact, huh… Well, it would likely be around an hour on foot for a human, which was quite far.

“Wou? Wuff-wuff?”

“Howling?”

“Howling… That is very…I think it would be alarming for the villagers to suddenly hear it…”
“That’s true. Hmm…”

Even if it was from a distance and towards a different direction, the villagers would still be able to hear it.

It would be one thing if it was a bell that rang regularly, but… Well, what if the howling was done at the same time every day? I would have to ask Mr. Haines about it.

“There will be plenty of space in the garden around the house, so perhaps you could have a few fenrirs stay there.”
“Ah, yes. And they can act as messengers.”
“Wuff. Wuff-wuff.”

I agreed with Ms. Lyra’s suggestion, as did Leo.

We could have a small hut built near the garden for them to sleep in.

The fenrirs loved to run, so I doubted they would be against it.

“Wou…? Wuff. Wuff-wou!”

“Good Leo?”

“Ah, is that so? I will have to think about that too… Uh, Ms. Lyra…”

According to Leo, there would be a lot of fenrirs who want to live close to the new house.

As they would around humans a lot, it was probably best to choose those who we were already close to.

Feri, Fen, Riruru… In fact, Riruru was already looking at pleadingly as she carried Ms. Lyra.

“Feri said that they take ranking very seriously… But I don’t know much about that… It might lead to unrest.”

For instance, Fen and Riruru were not very high-ranking, but they were often with us. Also, if Feri was the leader, then he should be with the rest of the pack most of the time…

There were various factors that could lead to trouble.

“We will have to think about that seriously. And talk to Feri and the others…”
“Yes. It cannot be decided here.”

I could not decide everything on my own. I had to talk to Claire and the other servants first.

“Ah, there is also the matter about the food… Well, the road is long, and we’ll have plenty of opportunities to talk.”

“Wuff.”

Leo nodded at me. And as Liza continued to sleep, I felt the gentle breeze as we continued on our way.

As for the food matter, it was in regards to how the fenrirs wanted to eat cooked food now.

They were able to hunt for orcs on their own, but had taken a liking to the human food that Feri had introduced to them.

Ms. Helena would be with us, but she did not have as many cooks helping her now… And it would be a lot of work to feed over forty fenrirs with ravenous appetites.

I had thought about it before, and knew that we would have to hire more cooks once we arrived. Perhaps there would be people from the village who could cook?

Perhaps Ms. Chita and the other servants would be able to help for some time.

The employees as well, as there wouldn’t be fields to work in immediately.
