Day 134: Aftermath of the Sea Serpent.
Holy Era 6102, Month of the Moon Sheep, 25th day.

Hmm… The pain in my body has subsided completely.
I got out of bed and moved around a little.
…Still, I felt a little sluggish after sleeping for a whole day.
I might not be able to work today either.
As I thought of such things, I sensed someone moving on the nearby sofa.
When I turned to look, I saw that Ms. Mia was just getting up.
As she had not been able to move, she stayed in my room last night as well.
When she noticed me, she smiled and purred ‘Good morning.’
She seemed to be alright as well… That was good.
I washed my face and changed into my armor. And then Ms. Noa entered the room.
She looked at us and then sighed with relief.
Ms. Nico was behind her and taking notes as she observed us.
In spite of being warned many times over, she had not changed her ways at all…
Ms. Mia must have given up, as she was not angry when Ms. Nico approached her.
Still, she did step away cautiously.
Well, now that I was finished preparing, it was time to eat breakfast. I’m starving.
After we finished eating, we headed to the Adventurers Guild.
As I was not in my best condition, we could not be reckless. Still, I had to move my body…
If I didn’t act, I would get even more sluggish.
For now, I need a job that is quick and easy.
And so we entered the guild building and reached the front desk.
I asked the muscular guild worker about the sea serpent.
According to him, dozens of Adventurers had been sent out to hunt it.
That was surprisingly fast. He answered that it would be dangerous if it escaped onto land.
Also, the scales of the Sea Serpent were softer than usual right now.
I asked him the reason, and he said that the Sea Serpents came onto land in order to shed their skin.
As it was immediately after shedding, the attacks would do more damage…
I see… That was why it seemed a little rubbery when I hit it.
As I nodded understandingly, he gave me a leather bag and said it was a special reward.
…Ah, the Sea Serpent was classified as a Disaster-level species!
As the name suggested, such species are monsters that cause massive damage to their surroundings.
Krakens were in the same category.
In terms of damage, they were similar to the ‘named’ monsters I talked about before. The difference with Disaster-level monsters was that their entire species were dangerous.
Also, they had a wider range of movement and were harder to predict.
And so if you made a report upon finding them, you were given a special reward.
Still, it was a good thing we ran away when we did.
We would have definitely died.
After that, we accepted a job to help unload cargo from a ship, and then we retired for the day.
…Also, at this rate, I should be able to work normally tomorrow.
