My Beloved Dog is the Strongest in Another World – 1339

I was interrogated in the end

“Hmm?”
“I see, I see…”
“So…it’s that…?”
“Even I could understand that one.”

“Well, we understand Mr. Euto’s tastes now. And Phillip’s… Also, Nicholas.”
“Me?”

“Because Ms. Corint has short hair.”

I did not want to question Mr. Euto any further, as things would move in a strange direction. And so I changed the subject.

I was not trying to make him realize his feelings for Ms. Lugretta. And it wasn’t like it could be forced anyway.

“Now that I think about it…”

Nicholas had said that long hair would get in the way, so it seemed like he preferred short hair.

“By the way, Takumi. What about Lady Claire?”

“Huh? What about her?”

Right after I put Nicholas on the spot…Phillip asked me a question.

“Her hair. I see you touching it a lot. It must be very smooth?”

He said with a grin.

Damn it. I lowered my guard and was being hit by strays.

And why were we still talking about hair?

Well, I suppose I was continuing it with Ms. Corint…

“Uh…well… I have nothing negative to say about it.”
“Oh, he’s trying not to smile.”
“Yes, his hand even moved.”
“Huh!?”

Apparently, I had been reacting to my memories without even realizing it.

“The night is still long, so we should be able to hear a lot more from him! Hehehe. Let’s find out how he managed to attract our Lady Claire!”

It was already quite late into the night… In fact, it would probably start growing brighter soon!

I glanced over to my watch and saw that we had been talking for a long time already.

“Hmm. I am interested in that too. Perhaps it will be a good example when it comes to dealing with women.”

Nicholas said.

I suppose he was taking Ms. Corint seriously now.

“She was called the Iron Lady who constantly turned down offers of marriage… And so I’m also interested to know how you managed to make Claire fall for you.”

Iron Lady? What a strange nickname.

Though, I knew the part about offers being true.

“Now, tell us!”
“Hey, waa…it!”

The three of them moved in, and I knew there was no way to escape.

While the matter of Mr. Euto and Ms. Lugretta had been more fruitful than expected, I don’t know why the conversation had to switch over to me.

After that, Phillip’s whimpering could be heard coming from the tent.

This was because he was the only one out of us four who didn’t have anyone who was interested in him.

As for the reason…it was fairly obvious… He needed to be more serious and not approach every woman he saw.

As we talked about such things, the sun began to rise and it was nearly morning. And so the four of us, exhausted, drifted off to sleep…

“Hah… I barely even slept…”

I stepped out of the tent and into the blinding sun.

As I had only been able to sleep for two hours, I was still tired.

I looked inside of the tent, and the other three were still sleeping.

The only reason I was able to wake up was because I had developed a habit based on past experiences.
