Both men and women did not get much sleep
“Wuff. Wuff-wuff!”
“Oh, good morning, Leo… Hah…”
As I was doing some stretches and light exercising in order to wake myself up, Leo walked over to me from the group of fenrirs.
She had probably woken up early in order to check up on them.
“Wou?”
“Yes, I didn’t get much sleep. So I’m a little tired.”
“Wuff… Wuff?”
“Haha. I’m fine. Just a little sleepy. And I have some herbs for that anyway. But thanks for asking, Leo.”
“Wuff-wuff!”
“Now…I guess I’ll get some hot water and wash up… Oh, are you coming too?”
“Wuff-wuff.”
Leo followed me as I started to walk away from the tent.
It wasn’t like we were going to play. So I guess she just wanted to water over me…
“By the way, what happened to Liza? I thought you were together.”
“Wuff. Wuff-wuff.”
“I see. With Rahle and the others.”
Apparently, she was with Rahle and the cockatrices. The fenrirs were over there as well. And so was Tilura.
Due to the two parties taking place, Liza had slept in Tilura’s tent.
“I wonder how Claire and… Ah…there she is. Claire!”
“Wuff!”
Remembering them, I turned towards Claire’s tent.
It was just as she was slowly stumbling out.
“Ah…Mis…ter…Takumi…goo…moo…rrning…”
“Haha. You look tired. Did you stay up that late?”
“No…didn’t sleep…at all.”
“Huh?”
Didn’t sleep?
Even if they were enjoying the conversation, Claire had never developed the habits that I had, and had a stricter schedule. So I thought they wouldn’t stay up too late…
“We kept talking…and before we knew it…it was…morning… Haaahhh. And so I came out…”
“It sounds like you had a great time…”
“Hmmph! Ouch…”
“A-are you alright?”
“Wuff?”
Perhaps to wake herself up, Claire started slapping her cheeks. Apparently, it was a little too hard.
“Yes…I’m fine… Hah… Good morning, Mr. Takumi. And you too, good Leo.”
“Wuff!”
“Yes, morning. By the way, you seem to have caught my hand…?”
With reddened cheeks, Claire had grabbed my right hand with both hands and held it to her face.
“Your hand in the morning. It helps to wake me up…”
If anything, it looked like she would drift off to sleep again.
Well,she seemed to enjoy it, so I had no objections.
“Mr. Takumi. How was your night? You know…in regards to Ms. Lugretta…”
“It started pretty bad at first…but it wasn’t a complete waste in the end. I’ll tell you the details later. Phillip, Nicholas and Mr. Euto are still sleeping in the tent. What about yours?”
I had not expected there to be a jealous outburst…
And the whole conversation about cold eyes had me worried. But in the end, it was worth it. Including the part involving Nicholas.
“They made me talk for more than half of the time… It was really horrible, how they were all united against me. Lyra and Johanna were especially vicious.”
“Haha. I see.”
She pouted a little. I could feel the air in her cheeks and had to hold myself back from pushing. That would make her mad.
“They kept asking about us, and especially you.”
“Me? Huh… Well, I guess a lot of people are curious. I was asked about you a lot as well.”
It was quite similar to what happened to me.
I suppose people were naturally interested in romance that was happening very close to them.
