I was better off not knowing what the girls talked about
“So it was the same with you as well. As for us…Lyra was especially curious about what you would say to me. It was really…not very pleasant. Jane was laughing and Ms. Lugretta looked rather embarrassed.”
“Wuff?”
“I-I’m fine. I just remembered, that’s all.”
“Wou.”
While Claire still had my hand, I shuddered with embarrassment at what I had said. And then Leo looked at me strangely.
It would be best to not think about it now.
Though, I did wonder which words of mine Claire decided to tell them.
“In-in any case, let’s prepare for the morning. I am sure that breakfast will be ready soon.”
“Indeed. I should feel refreshed after washing up.”
“Wuff-wuff.”
Claire wasn’t used to staying up late, and she looked sluggish. I should give her some recovery herbs, which will help a little.
Also, Claire told me that Ms. Lugretta, Johanna and Mrs. Jane was still sleeping in the tent. Only Ms. Lyra had woken up early and left.
She was moving around as if she wasn’t tired at all, which was quite impressive.
Still, I should probably give her some herbs too, as I had seen some lines under her eyes…
—
After breakfast, I gave the herbs to those who needed them.
I have them to the people that participated in the two parties, as well as the people we met up with in Ractos.
This was so they could experience the effects of the herbs, and because they were probably tired after being nervous and traveling.
Most people would feel nervous suddenly being around fenrirs and the daughter of a duke.
Regardless, once everyone was feeling better, we continued our journey to Range Village.
We would travel slowly today so that we arrived at the village right before midday tomorrow.
If we rushed, we could reach it today, but it would be night time.
Besides, we had already sent a message ahead, telling them of our arrival date.
“…These herbs. They are quite amazing. I am still a little drowsy, but all of the fatigue is gone.”
Ms. Lugretta was very impressed. She was riding in the carriage with me and Claire, as well as Ms. Lyra.
“Haha. Well, it really shows you how much people need to sleep. Still, I’m glad that it could help a little.”
“Are you going to start selling them? I did not see them being sold in Ractos…”
While I was also sleepy, I forced myself to stay awake and talk to Ms. Lugretta.
As for Claire, her head was gently bobbing up and down, and she would sometimes lean on my shoulder.
Ms. Lyra was sitting straight and polite…and asleep. Her eyes were closed, but she was not moving at all. It was impressive, in a way.
“I have some other herbs too… But they are too effective, and so haven’t decided if we should sell them or not yet. Also, there are other herbs to make… And if there are not enough, then the prices will go up…”
“I see… That is true. If there is a herb that is that effective, then it would be quite expensive.”
I was already making a lot of Loe, which was rare and expensive. Obviously, such things could be dangerous if you weren’t careful. Both to the economy, and my own safety.
“That being said, I don’t have restrictions when giving them to people directly… So if you want some, just tell me or Claire. Well, I can’t give you too much. And you would have to be careful that it does not leave you.”
“Because someone might try to sell it for profit. Yes, I understand.”
If Ms. Lugretta or Mr. Euto wanted some of the herbs, I intended to give it to them. But in limited quantities, of course.
