Chapter 221 – Overwhelmed!?
The monsters meant to kill as they swarmed around us.
These were all the strongest of the strong within the Demon King’s army. Orcs, goblins, harpies… There were dozens of different races here.

As the harpy crashed to the ground, all of the monsters looked in that direction.
“Are they over there!?”
An orc raised its axe into the air and started to run.
“Arrrggghhhh!! Mere humans think they can fight an orc!!”
“I am a demihuman.”
Iria’s voice echoed, and then the orc turned around. At the same time, Iria sent it flying towards the nearby tent.
“Wh-where are they! Gyaah!”
“I cannot even smell them!”
Grinia the goblin tried to rely on his sense of smell, but I had mixed powder from an odorous plant into the sand.
And a moment later, he was defeated by Iria as well.
After that, the other monsters went down one after another. However, none of them were bleeding. Iria was hitting them with the flat of her blade.
However, there was one enemy, a giant monster eyeball…an Evil Eye, that began to talk.
“I can see her! But I cannot follow…!?”

As the monsters looked up, they shouted.

They could not take their eyes off it.
Because in the sky, there was a giant….airship that looked like a flying fortress.
That was when Iria and I deactivated Hide.
And then Iria said to the monsters.
“That explosion you just saw. We have plenty more on board that ship. We can turn this camp into a sea of fire if we wish… Surrender now.”
“Ho-how dare you! Who would ever surrender to demihumans… AH!?”
An orc had raised its axe and started to move towards Iria, but it stopped when Iria glared at him.
The other monsters also shuddered in horror as they looked at her.
“Wh-why is…”
“Did you hear me!? Lower your weapons!!”
The monsters tried their best to move their bodies and fight.
However, it was completely impossible when Iria was glaring at them.
But I suppose they would not surrender, when there were this many of them…
Iria let out a sigh.
“In that case, I will have to take all of you down…”
“That will not be necessary.”
Came a voice, and Iria and I turned around.
There stood the suit of armor that had guided us here.
“So there you are.”
“I apologize for the rudeness of my subordinates.”
“You’re one to talk. I suppose the false Demon King was moving by your command?”
“Indeed… I was very curious to know what kind of people you were.”
“Demon King… Then…”
“This is no place to talk. Come this way.”
The black armor answered me, and then started to walk towards the large tent.
And then the monsters started to look around in confusion.
It was as if they had forgotten about the airship above their heads.
The monster leaders were also stunned.
They could not see us now…and had forgotten everything that happened.
This must be the work of the black armor. Or the Demon King.
