Kamigami – 61 Part 3

‘Skill: [Weapon Proficiency] Level 3 activated.’

The silver letters appeared on his dog tag, and he felt the power enter his body.

His footsteps were light. Just like a feather.

“Ga…h…”

The goblin fell to the ground after being cut in half. Another slash of the sword took the other goblin down.

“Ahhh! St-stopp!”

The blade slid easily into the stomach of the next one. When he pulled it out, the entrails began to pour.

Within no time at all, the three goblins were turned into bags of meat.

‘What are you doing, Poro! When there is a sudden attack, you are supposed to…’

‘You! You knew everything, didn’t you! That there is a village that is being attacked so close to us!’

The commander was stunned by his words for a moment, but quickly tried to regain his authority.

‘Tha-that’s an order! Our mission is only to patrol the area! Even if there are only a few enemies, we must save our strength!’

‘Like I care! I just want to kill the monsters who burned down my village! I don’t have time for this!’

Poro picked up his fallen spear and glared in the direction that the villager had come running from.

‘I’m going to go and help that village! Even if I have to do it alone! The rest of you can stay here politely in the Hero’s toy army!’

‘Skill: [Marching Step] activated. Reduces fatigue from full-speed movement.’

The dog tag answered as he began to run. Apparently, it wasn’t deactivated immediately when you disobeyed orders. The problem was whether or not he could save the village before the Hero turned him back into an ordinary farmer.

“Are you trying to look good all by yourself?”

To his surprise, Meshe came running towards him while holding her spear. Not only that, but a few others were also disobeying orders and following her.

‘All of you. You’ll be punished even if you return alive!’

‘I don’t care! I’m tired of this polite army!’

‘Besides, what is the point in joining a Hero’s army if we are just going to abandon people who may be saved.’

The others agreed with him.

“You were the one who started this. You better not lose your courage after this.”

“I could say the same to you. Will you still be brave in front of the monsters?”

They said to each other. And like that, all of the feelings of discontent vanished without a trace. And there was a much stronger sense of camaraderie compared to before.

‘Let’s go!’

He said, and they dashed towards the forest.

‘Charge! Save the village!’

They shouted as they ran towards the horde of monsters.

And then a sight showed up clearly in Poro’s vision.

“Someone! Help me!”

A parent and child were surrounded by monsters so that they could not escape. A mother who was trying desperately to protect her daughter.

With a shout of hatred, Poro unleashed the skill from his dog tag.
