My Beloved Dog is the Strongest in Another World – 1357

The dogs of Range Village were well

“Alright, Leo…?”

“Wuff-wuff!”
“Ahahahaha!”
“Wow! So many!”

“Wuff-wuff! Kyan!”
“Kuun!”
“Kyuu!”

The dogs of Range Village barked energetically and then ran towards Leo and Liza.

Tilura was also with them.

“Hmm? Ah, I see…”

“Hehe. I remember now. That little one likes Sherry.”
“Oh?”

“Wuff! Kyan!”

“Kyu. Kyuu?”

Just one… The maltese that reminded me of what Leo used to look like, made a straight line towards Sherry, who was near the carriage behind us.

In the end, the maltese dog had become fond of Leo and the others too, but it was the closest to Sherry… It had even barked sadly when we left the village.

It must have remembered Sherry, as it was wagging its tail and running excitedly.

However, Sherry looked surprised by the welcome.

“…Kuun?”
“Kyu…?”

“I thought it would pounce on her, but it stopped right in front of her.”
“I wonder what happened?”

It stopped suddenly and skidded on the ground. I was worried about its little paws.

Sherry and the maltese were now looking at each other as if puzzled.

“Could it be because Sherry has grown bigger since the last time?”
“Now that you mention it, she was a bit smaller before. It is getting harder for me to carry her… Though, I can still have her on my lap when sitting down.”

It was harder for me to notice, since she still looked small next to Leo and the other fenrirs, but she was definitely growing bigger.

She was still lighter than Liza, and was likely around ten kilos…

It was hard to know for sure, as we didn’t have a scale.

“Kuuun…kuun?”
“Ky-kya…”

The maltese looked at Sherry carefully and tilted its head repeatedly as if it was trying to figure out if it really was her.

Sherry didn’t know what to do.

“Hey, Sherry! It doesn’t recognize you anymore because you’re so big!”
“Kyau!? Kyu… Kyu-kyuu!”

“Wuff! Kyan-kyan!”

When I told Sherry, her tail pointed straight upwards…she looked even more shocked.

But then she walked up to the maltese and barked as if to reassure it.

After that, it seemed to understand, as it barked happily and jumped onto Sherry.

“Hmm. I see that they made up without issue.”
“It’s not like they were fighting…”

Mr. Ekenhart smiled as he watched them.

Claire was also smiling gently.

“Now, Mr. Takumi.”
“And Lady Claire.”
“Ah, yes…”
“Very well.”

Alfred and Hermine led us away from the entrance and towards the new mansion to the north side of the village.

“So that is the new house… It sure is big.”
“And so clean due to being new.”
“Wuff.”
“Wow! So big!”

It was bigger than expected.

As for Claire, I suppose she was saying that because this house was overall a little more modest compared to the old one.

In any case, Liza had the same opinion as me, so I was satisfied…
