My Beloved Dog is the Strongest in Another World – 1363

After the second floor, we went up to the third floor

“I’m happy to have my own room!”

“That’s great, Liza.”

After the brushing was finished, Liza was completely won over by Ms. Lyra’s tactics.

Though, it seemed like she still wanted to sleep in my room.

I suggested Claire and Sherry could join us some time. So it would not be every day like it was before.

In any case, we then went back into the hallway…and headed to the other side of the staircase in order to check the rooms on the left side.

“This room should be sufficient to push father in.”
“Push in…”

The rooms were very large, and Claire was satisfied.

The left side of the second floor was mostly for special guests.

As we had more than enough guest rooms on the first floor, they would not be used often. But they would be reserved for people like Mr. Ekenhart or Mr. Euto.

“Over here we have the rooms for the maids. And the butler rooms are over there.”

We went up to the third floor and looked at the rooms.

But as the servants were moving around busily, we did not want to get in their way, and only looked for a short while.

The maids had their rooms on the right side of the second floor.

In general, two people shared one room, and the butlers had the same configuration on the left side. My and Claire’s servants were not separated.

Two people shared a room in order to accommodate newcomers like Milina. As they generally stuck with one person who would teach them throughout the day.

But there were some exceptions, like Ms. Lyra and Hermine, who had their own rooms and overseed the others.

“Now, there is just the first floor left… Oh?”
“Kyau!”

“Ah! Thank you, Mr. Takumi. Oh, Sherry! It’s dangerous to jump so suddenly like that. Hehehe…”

Just as we made our way down the stairs to the first floor, Sherry came in through the front door and jumped onto Claire.

Claire almost lost her balance, and so I had to support her from behind.

Sherry had been with the other dogs, but I suppose she came to see how we were doing.

When I looked, I saw that Tilura, Sebastian and the others had come inside as well. I suppose they finished tending to the horses and fenrirs outside.

In any case, we continued with our tour of the house.

“Ah, Mr. Takumi and Lady Claire. Everyone. I’m sorry, but lunch will take a little longer to prepare…”
“No, it’s not that, Ms. Helena. We’re just looking around the house.”

Our first stop was the kitchen.

Ms. Helena and the cooks were carrying food and ingredients as they prepared a meal.

“…It is quite different from before.”

“Since everything was being made new, they made it so it would be easier for us.”

Answered Ms. Helena.

I did not know that much about cooking or using kitchens, and so I had left a lot of it to Ms. Helena and the cooks.

It was important that they found it easy to use.

The first thing that I noticed was different was the stove.

Not wanting to bother them, I asked Ms. Lyra about it. She told me that it used magic, which allowed for better adjustments to the heat.

There were also ordinary cooking stoves, but the cooks were already using the magic one as if to test it.

There was also a two meter high box to store food.

There were two doors that could open, and about a third of the space was filled with ice. That would keep the food cool for storage.

It was like an old kind of refrigerator that did not use electricity.
