“Well, we have gotten side-tracked. I was talking about going to Range village.”
“You look embarrassed.”
“I’ve never seen father embarrassed before…”
“Nevermind that! Range village!”
“What about Range village?”
“It is not like there is anything in particular I have to do. But I want Claire and Mr. Takumi to come with me. Just the village, you do not have to come to the main house.”
“Me and Ms. Claire?”
“Well, aside from the matter of the herb fields, I thought it would be best to see it at least once. While Claire will probably be going back and forth a lot, she will stay there for quite some time. What do you say?”
“Indeed…I have never been to Range village. So I would like to see it.”
“As someone who has been there, it is a quiet and relaxing village. Though, I suppose it was partially due to not being busy making wine. Very well, I will go as well.”

Aside from the issue of Ms. Anne, we intended to start a business in Range village, so it was best to go once and talk about it.
If Ms. Claire and Mr. Ekenhart were going, then I had to go as well.
Even if Mr. Haines had already agreed to it, I wanted to see the village again, and Leo would want to play with the children.
Besides, it would be nice to introduce Liza to everyone.

“Wuff-wuff!”
“Yes, of course, you will go too, Leo.”
“Wuff!”
“Where are you going, papa and mama?”
“You know Rosalie, who visited before? We’re going to the place where she lives. Besides, we will live there eventually. And you will come with us.”
“I see! I can’t wait to meet Rosalie again!”
“Mmm, it would be good for Liza and Leo to go as well. Well, it is decided then.”

Leo must have remembered playing with the children, as she started to wag her tail excitedly.
It was unusual for Leo to join in a conversation while she was eating… Or so I thought. But when I looked, her plate was already empty.
In fact, everyone aside from me and Ms. Claire had finished eating as well.

“Father, I will go too!”
“You too, Tilura? Hmm… Well, I have no objections to it…”
“Tilura, you did not study at all while in the forest, did you? What about that? I know that you grew in the forest, and even acquired a familiar. But you cannot ignore the rest either, you know?”
“Yes, I’ll be fine! I know that I have to study hard for Rahle as well. And so I will study!”
“Really? Well, I suppose it is fine then.”
“Ms. Claire, you seem a lot less strict about studying than before?”
“Well, because I saw her in the forest. And thought that perhaps being outside was good for her. Her meeting with Rahle also has had a great effect.”
“Indeed… She has grown…”

Tilura had raised her hand and said that she wanted to go with us.
She was even more curious than Ms. Claire, so I had expected it.
Perhaps Ms. Claire had been like this before her mother died.

“Hmm…I guess it is fine then. I will allow Tilura to go to Range village then. My journey back would have been boring, but now my two daughters will be coming back with me half of the way.”
“…Is that why you wanted them to go?”
“What are you talking about?”

Apparently, Mr. Ekenhart had also expected Tilura to say that she wanted to go.
So he was probably just pretending to consider it.
He then looked away awkwardly as if to avoid my gaze, but it just made it more obvious.
Sebastian had been watching, and he just let out a sigh and shook his head…
