Kamigami – 33 Part 4

125: Anonymous
How exciting…

126: Anonymous
So, >>1 lost to the kobold, right?

127: Anonymous
I’m surprised this thread is still going on…

128: Anonymous
This kobold is such a sadist.

129: Anonymous
How predictable.
Still, is this really just a kobold?
They are usually so weak and dumb.

130: Anonymous
>>129
Not really. In some tactical rpgs, they are not much different from humans.
And in some old novels, they are servants to dragons. lol.

131: Anonymous
How nostalgic.

132: Hero from Another World
>>130
I never played those games.
I prefer MMOs…

>>131
I don’t read novels much either.
My perspective is so narrow.

133: Hero from Another World
Anyway, I followed the smell to him.
He had a wooden board that blocked magic at his feet. Fully prepared.

Still, as I couldn’t sleep, I had been thinking desperately.
If he used the board once, it would shatter.
So I just needed to shoot twice.
That being said, he might escape if I suddenly hit him with an explosion.
And so I used a simple feint.

The bracelet has two different attacks. I either shout ‘Pierce’ or ‘Crush.’
And so I pretended to shoot an arrow but used the explosion instead.
He was hit, and then fell to the ground. And then I shot him with an arrow.

134: Anonymous
And then?

135: Anonymous
Huh? Where did >>1 go??

136: Anonymous
Did the kobold come back to finish the job?

137: Anonymous
I am kobo-chan. I am behind you right now!

138: Anonymous
That makes it sound like a different person.

139: Anonymous
I am now thinking about this story as a comic strip. lol

140: Hero from Another World
I went to the bathroom and then realized that I was hungry. The miso ramen tasted good! lol

141: Anonymous
Yeah, it’s not bad.

142: Anonymous
Eating ramen in the middle of a story… Heroes these days lack discipline.

143: Anonymous
Hurry up and finish this.

144: Anonymous
>>143
Calm down.

145: Anonymous
No.

146: Hero from Another World
Sorry. I’ll finish now. No interuptions.

I hit him with the second attack. But he stuck his back on the ground and put his arms and legs in front of him.
He was blocking with arm and leg guards.
I realized that he had read me completely. And then he ran and hid.
At that point, I knew I was in danger. Still, there was blood where the kobold had been sleeping.
I went over to the tree he had run to, and cut it down.

147: Anonymous
Kill him!

148: Anonymous
Throw away your weapon and fight like a man!

149: Anonymous
You guys…

150: Anonymous
Commando!

151: Hero from Another World
I really do look like a villain, huh? lol
ButI was so mad. And the kobold was finally within reach.

Still, he blocked my attack with his bow, and then charged into me.
He used the defense effect to knock himself into the air and away.
Then he rolled down the slope, and I desperately chased after him.

He ran towards the river and tried to hide behind the boulders.

152: Anonymous
Gulp…

153: Anonymous
>>1 has used up all his magic. But still has the weapon and armor.
The kobold has no weapons and is injured.

How the hell is it going to win…

154: Anonymous
Honestly this kobold is way more interesting than >>1
I mean, he did all of that by himself, right? It’s quite impressive.

155: Anonymous
>>154
The kobold is getting revenge for the death of its friends.
When you think about it, it makes sense.

156: Anonymous
The cycle of hatred… How sad.

157: Anonymous
Kill the Hero. No mercy!

158: Hero from Another World
…To be honest, the kobold was in a bad state. I think it had some small blade, though.
It could also throw rocks.
I was so sure that I had won.
Besides, I had thought of a way to seal his movements.

The barrier activates when I charge too. So I just need to do that to begin with. Blow him into the air and cut him down.

And so I charged.
At the same time, he threw a rock to make a wall.
I kept running, and the barrier blasted him off of his feet.
Just as the barrier faded, I gave the command to my sword. Cut him.
In the next instant, the sword bounced out my hand and pierced into the boulder behind him.

159: Anonymous
He threw the rock while he was flying?

160: Anonymous
Can you do that?

161: Hero from Another World
He had buried a rock attached to a string in the ground.

My guss is…
He threw the rock at me to activate the barrier. At the same time, he holds the string and is blown away.
Then, when the barrier fades, the string is pulled, and the rock hits me from behind.
The barrier activates to protect me, but ends up blowing away both the rock and the sword at the same time.

I may be wrong. But that’s the only explanation I could think of.

162: Anonymous
What a strategy.

163: Anonymous
It was all a trap.
How amusing.

164: Anonymous
You fell right into it…
So now you only have your armor. How did you lose that?

165: Hero from Another World
I was so stunned after losing the sword
But he was calm.
He easily dodged my fists and tripped me.

Still, I just needed to get the sword back. That’s what I thought.
However, I couldn’t…

When I tried to stand up, I fell back down and couldn’t move.
My hands and legs. And I was sweating. Cold and numb.

166: Anonymous
Poison again? Or does the bad stuff not work?

167: Anonymous
Sounds like low blood sugar!
And you were probably dehydrated too.

168: Anonymous
It happens to be people who go to the mountains.
People who don’t bring enough food.

169: Hero from Another World
You guys have more knowledge than me…
If only I knew…

While I was on the ground, the kobold took out his hatchet and quietly destroyed the gem on my armor. So the barrier wouldn’t activate anymore.

And like that, I lost everything.
He said I was a crab without a shell.
I think…he probably meant that I was all appearances…with nothing inside…

At that point, I just lost it.
I was screaming about how it was a shitty game.
Why was I being hunted by a kobold…

170: Anonymous
Woah…how embarrassing for you.

171: Anonymous
So you can shoot others but can’t take the heat when it comes back?

172: Anonymous
This guy is a freak.

173: Anonymous
Yeah, I can’t defend him…
He killed those kobolds, so he has no right to complain…

174: Anonymous
“You’re the worst! Complete trash!”

175: Anonymous
Kids these days, right? Everything is a silly game for them.

176: Anonymous
Alright, you guys are being too harsh now.
A lot of you would probably do the same in his position.

177: Anonymous
>>176
Well, maybe.
And maybe >>1 would have been just as judgmental if he was a reader here.
Who knows?

Still, I think he wrote all of this because he feels guilty about what he did.

178: Hero from Another World
>>176
Thanks.
But I agree with the others.

The truth is…it felt wrong. When I saw the kobold settlement.
They were so similar to any human village.
And they couldn’t even defend themselves… I felt bad…

But even since I was summoned, I was told that it was a game. Just a game.
Of course, there were lots of dangerous monsters. And I saw people actually die.
So I understood that they had to be defeated.

But…is that all? I still wonder.

>>177
Yeah.
So let me just finish this.

179: Hero from Another World
My words made him go mad. He hit me over and over.
He couldn’t understand how he had to lose his family, while I said it was just a game.
He was furious that they had to die by someone like me…

After that, the blade went to my throat, and sliced all at once.
I bled, and the pain started to fade away.
And then my vision went dark.

But in spite of what they say, my life didn’t flash before me at all.
All I thought was… I wanted to eat ramen.

When I came to, I was lying on my bed. Time had passed. About as much time as I spent over there.
And yet, my parents and older brother didn’t even notice I was gone.
The god must have done something.

Still, it just didn’t sit right with me. And so I made this thread.

That’s the end.
Let me know if you have questions.
Even though I doubt you really believe me.

180: Anonymous
Well, it does sound like a fantasy.
But I was entertained, I guess.
Makes me not want to play games.
I feel bad for the kobold.

181: Anonymous
The only reason that I read through this was because I like those reincarnation and hero stories…
But it sure didn’t end well for you…

182: Anonymous
Well, >>1 is an idiot.
Besides, doesn’t he know the pattern? Gods like that are always using stupid humans for their own purposes.
…You shouldn’t have trusted that god.

183: Anonymous
>>182
Why are you like that?
You probably would have died just as quickly.

184: Anonymous
Hey, hey. lol
Keep this up and the thread will be closed. lol

185: Anonymous
Still, it does make me wonder what I would do if it happened to me.
Honestly…I would really like to go on an adventure with a cute girl.

186: Anonymous
The problem is knowing what to do with your power.
I think that is the trap.

187: Anonymous
Where did >>1 go? Is he eating ramen again?

188: Hero from Another World
I was reading your comments and thinking.

It’s been two weeks now…
And I can’t help but wonder about the people I left behind. The world.
There are other Heores. Will they be able to defeat the Demon King?

Also…I’m most curious about the kobold.
Why was he brought back?
What was that goddess trying to do?

And what am I?

189: Anonymous
You’re a no-body. A side character.
You may have had great power, but in the end, you fell due to common human weakness.
Someone like that can only be a disposable pawn.

190: Anonymous
So…is the kobold the protagonist?

191: Anonymous
No way.
There must be a real main character out there who will kill him.

192: Anonnymous
The kobold loses his way after fulfilling his revenge and having no purpose.
How typical.

193: Anonymous
If there are a lot of Heroes, then surely one of them will be able to defeat the Demon King.
Or maybe the gods will do it.
If you can’t go back, then there’s no point in worrying.

194: Hero from Another World
True…
Even if I wanted to go back, I have no way of contacting the gods.

Thanks for reading this confusing thread.
I feel a little better now.

Anyway, thanks for staying up so late.
I hope you do better if you get an invite from a god. lol

Good night.

195: Anonymous
lol
That was interesting.

196: Anonymous
It was fine for a troll attempt.
I hope he doesn’t quit school.

197: Anonymous
I can’t wait for the next installment. lol

198: Anonymous
A nice time killer.
Good luck, >>1!

199: Anonymous
I’m going to think about it too.
Not in case a god calls me or anything. But perhaps I can use it for a story I’m writing.
Though, I suppose this will be deleted soon.

200: Anonymous
>>1
Don’t be too hard on yourself. At least you came back alive.

201: Anonymous
>>200
Why are you taking him seriously? lol
Still, it’s a nice dream to have. Haha.
You nerds be careful.

202: Anonymous
I heard there was something interesting going on in this thread. And so here I am.

203: Anonymous
Is there where the festival is happening?
Oh, I was too late… How lame.

204: Anonymous
End of troll thread.
Also, everyone who posted here is a creepy nerd.

205: Anonymous
Delete!

206: Anonymous
And make a new one!

207: Anonymous
Don’t do that.

208: Anonymous
>>1
Are you still reading?

209: Anonymous
>>1
If you are seeing this, allow me to ask you one question.

Would you like to return to that world once again?

210: Hero from Another World
>>209
I am.
Like to return… Of course, I would.

211: Anonymous
I registered a new Skype address by adding your name to the end of your email address.
The password is your surname and birthdate combined. Use that address to log in.

212: Hero from Another World
…What the.
Who the hell are you?

213: Anonymous
It is your choice to enter or not enter.
But you should proceed if you wish to know the truth.
The address can only be used for one day. After that, it will be erased.

Now, see you on the other side.

214: Anonymous
…What is this now?
What’s happening?

Is >>1 making shit up again?

215: Anonymous
Woah…this is psychotic behavior…

216: Anonymous
>>1 is trying to fool us again?

217: Anonymous
Well, this thread will be legendary for how bad it was.

218: Anonymous
No. It’s just shit. Lame.

219: Anonymous
Alright, that’s enough. End of thread.
