Day 118: Strategy Meeting.

Today, I would be attending the strategy meeting for defeating the great sea monster.
I was summoned as a representative of our party… Will I be able to do it well?
As I was feeling anxious, Ms. Noa encouraged me. It will be fine! You can do it!
Indeed… I am a full-fledged Adventurer now. I will do it!
While I was attending the meeting, Ms. Noa would stay at the inn to do maintenance on our equipment.
Ms. Nico would go to the Alchemists Guild and concoct some medicine.
…Ms. Nico and Ms. Noa, do your best as well.
When I arrived at the guild, all of the other Adventurers who had gathered had severe expressions.
That was how desperate this mission was.

First on the agenda was the predicted habitat area of the kraken.

Next came the more detailed explanation regarding the strategy of hunting the kraken…which I barely understood.
They were talking about ship speed, ocean currents, tides, the weather, and wind direction. And I could not understand any of it.
I would look to Ms. Shu for help, but she just shrugged and shook her head.
…Is this strategy going to work? I am a little worried now…
Regardless of my feelings, the meeting continued at a quick pace.
At the end, they started to assign roles.
Jobs were decided based on the size of communities and party members.
Our party was assigned to something called the 14th Mobile Detachment.
A mobile detachment… In other words, fight as you see fit, as long as you don’t get in the way… Honestly, that only makes me more uneasy.

She chuckled and said it was better to be able to fight more casually… Well, perhaps she was right.
