The mansion tour began
“Welcome, Good Leo and Lady Liza!”
“Wuff!”
“Wah!”
Next came in Leo, and Liza, who rode on her back. And they were also greeted by the servants.
“Haha. Look at Takumi’s face. Claire…is not surprised.”
“It is tradition for when entering a new house. I knew it was going to happen when Hermine and the others went in first.”
“I-I see…”
So Claire knew about it.
They could have told me in advance then, but Mr. Ekenhart was laughing, so I supposed it was fine.
Regardless, this was now our new home.
As I looked around the hall, I had a strange feeling, as if the house itself was welcoming us too.

Shortly after, the servants were busy moving around the luggage, as well as the other things there still loaded into the wagons and carriages.
In the meantime, Claire, Leo, Liza and I were guided through the mansion.
Mr. Ekenhart, Mr. Euto and the others were led to the drawing room.
As we were the masters of the house, Claire and I were supposed to see everything first.
“Mr. Takumi, this is your bedroom.”
It was on the second floor.
After climbing up the staircase, you turned to the right and went down a hallway to reach it.
The room was already furnished with things from Mr. Haines’s store.
“While everything has been prepared, please let us know if you would like to move the furniture. Also, your study is to the right. The rooms are connected, so you can go there directly.”
“Ah, I see.”
There was a large bed in the center of the room, a door in the wall that led to the study, and a desk, chairs and shelves along the walls.
There was also a sofa on the left side of the room, as well as a table and chairs for guests. I would probably spend a lot of time there.
I saw that there was also a shelf with a tea set and other things.
Even with a large bed in the center, the room felt very spacious, and Leo would be able to move around with ease.
Though, she would not be able to run.
“Lady Claire’s bedroom is next door to the left. As well as her study.”
“Huh!?”
“While it is a little embarrassing, I am glad to be so close to Mr. Takumi.”
So our rooms would be next to each other… Well, we were under the same roof, so it didn’t matter too much if our rooms were close or far.
Well, I guess it would save time not having to walk across the house.
While I was happy, it made me feel a little nervous at the same time.
“…Unfortunately, Mr. Takumi and Lady Claire’s rooms are not directly connected.”
“You don’t have to feel that way!”
Ms. Lyra muttered as Claire blushed and looked at the wall.
“Yes. It’s a little too early for that.”
“A little…”
Claire touched her cheek and nodded.
Did she mean it would be connected in the future?
“Wou… Sniff-sniff.”
“Good Leo?”
Leo was walking around the room and smelling the floor, bed, and walls.
Liza also began to copy her and smell them. Though, she looked puzzled. Apparently, she could not tell the difference. She had good hearing, but her sense of smell was similar to humans.
“Haha. Leo seems to like it here. I’m sure Liza will get used to it too.”
“I wonder what happened? Good Leo is suddenly smelling things.”
While I chuckled, Claire looked confused by it.
Ms. Lyra was also tilting her head to the side…
