Chapter 132 – Discovery After Bathing
After warming up thoroughly, we got out of the hot spring.
I dried off my body and wiped Hippolius as well.
In the meantime, dragon also shook the water off its body.
And then Pii absorbed the water from Boaboa and her child.
I checked their fur, and they were almost completely dry.
“Pii, that’s amazing.”
“Buboi.”
“Bui.”
Boaboa and her child were also expressing their gratitude.
“Pii really is talented.”
“Pii!”
Pii jumped happily into my arms and jiggled.
As Pii was able to swiftly purify the water in the bathing area, drying off Boaboa would be easy.
Once I was finished changing,
“Boaboa!”
Fio and Shiro came out from the other side.
“Bubo?”
“Cute.”
“Bui.”
Fio petted them.
And Shiro smelling their fur.
Fio was fully dressed now, but her hair was a little damp.
And so I put Pii on her head.
“Pii? What is it?”
‘Will dry your hair!’
“Thank you, Pii!”
As Fio was a brilliant tamer, she could understand what Pii was saying.
Though, not as words, since it wasn’t her familiar. But she could understand its will.
Just like me with Boaboa and dragon.
Shortly after, Kelly and Gisela came out as well.
“Fio, you have to dry your hair properly.”
Kelly and Gisela were holding the wolf cubs. Fio had probably run out while the cubs were being dried off.
“Sorry!”
“I’m not mad. It’s fine during the summer, but you will catch a cold during the winter.”
“Okay!”
“Theo, please hold Kuro.”
“Ah, okay.”
“Uhh, a clean towel…”
I picked up Kuro and saw that his fur was very fluffy and dry.
“Kuro smells nice. Thank you, Kelly.”
“It’s nothing. I enjoy taking care of Kuro.”
“Kuun-kuun.”
Kuro always liked to be doted on, but even more so today.
He licked my face and barked happily.
“Wou-wou.”
‘Carry.’
Apparently, Roro and Ruru wanted me to carry them as well.
“Alright, come over here.”
“They really do like Mr. Theo. I’m a little sad.”
Gisela said as she handed them over to me.
As it was hard to carry three at once, I had to sit down on the ground.
And so with Kuro, Roro and Ruru on my lap, I petted them.
As I had not seen them last night, they seemed to have missed me.
“Kyuo!”
Hippolius must have been triggered as well, as it also started to climb onto my lap.
And so I petted all four of them.
“Kuro, Roro, Ruru. Was everything good yesterday?”
‘Yes!’
“Wou.”
‘Ruru good.’
“I see. I see. Hippolius was good too.”
‘Hippolius good!’
As I was playing with them,
“Ah, there. It was in my bag.”
Kelly had finally found a clean towel.
And so she went to wipe Fio’s head.
“Oh? You’re already dry?”
“Pii dried it!”
“Pii!”
“Pii really can do anything…hmm?”
“Pii?”
Kelly noticed something after inspecting Fio’s hair.
“Fio’s hair appears to be more shiny. It is now like the hair of a noble lady.”
“Noble?”
Fio tilted her head.
“It’s difficult to explain. An important person.”
“Oh!”
“In any case, your hair looks very nice now.”
“Ehehe.”
“Is this an effect of Pii’s drying? Pii, did you do something special?”
‘Did nothing!’
“Apparently, Pii didn’t do anything.”
“Hmmm. That is odd. I shall have to look into it later. Will you cooperate with me, Pii?”
‘Okay!’
“It said okay.”
“Thank you.”
Perhaps Pii had the ability to improve the state of someone’s hair.
“Now that I think about it, Shiro also seems to be so much fluffier.”
Partly to get rid of fleas, Pii had helped clean Shiro, Kuro, Roro, and Ruru’s fur.
And now, their fur looked so much better compared to when we first met them.
“Maybe my hair is also…”
Pii often massaged my head and shoulders.
Also, Pii was always around me when I took a bath.
And so out of curiosity I touched my own hair.
But I couldn’t tell the difference.
